Since I was 14 years old I really love perfect mixing!As DJ Da Wick I started in the early 80s with soulful & funky tunes. And then house music stepped into my life. Boom - what is that?Marshall Jefferson, Farley "Jackmaster" Funk, Jesse Saunders and others changed my stile of music. All these Traxx on DJ International or Trax Records were absolutely out of space. Thank God I could be part of that time "when house music was born". And than it came Acid, Deep House, Soulful House and all that good stuff. It was an incredible time and i was allowed to experience it.In the late 80th, 90th & 2000th I was resident DJ in different clubs in Germany. One of it was the famous Checker's Club in Düsseldorf. Here I played for Claudia Schiffer, Heidi Klump or Mick Hucknall from Simply Red. I will always remember that time.Now I'm doing some mixes from time to time just for the love of music. It's not about me or any amazing DJ tricks that I could do - it's about the MUSIC.I am Seanskee, a DJ since 1979. I am an experienced nightclub, event, festival and mix-show DJ. I have played to crowds from the hundreds, to thousands, to tens(hundreds?)-of-thousands in clubs, theaters, events and on TV. My work has taken me from Chicago, to Los Angeles, New York City and San Francisco, among many other cities in the U.S.In Chicago during the rise of House Music in the 1980s and early 1990s - I was Director of Audiotalent/Chicago Music Pool, and wrote / edited / published Street Mix Magazine. As an influential taste-maker, I was featured in clubs like Domaine, Le Passage, Red Dragon, Shelter, China Club, Esoteria, NRG, Baja Beach Club, Tijuana Yacht Club, Sabrina, Eddie Rockets, S.O.P., and many others around all of the Chicagoland area. I have opened for Deee-Lite, and performed on live TV for New Year's Eve celebration on CBS Chicago broadcast from China Club, among other notable events.I was in the music business for 20+ years working for record labels and management companies, working artists' projects from LaTour, Jamie Principle, Cookie Watkins, Steve "Silk" Hurley, M-Doc; and others like Rage Against the Machine, Korn, Funkdoobiest, Volume 10, Cypress Hill, House of Pain, Machines of Loving Grace, The Crow Soundtrack and more.I moved into radio as an on-air personality which led to being a music director, program director and operations manager for Top-40, Rhythmic and Alternative/Modern Rock stations in several states in the USA. I produced and hosted a mix-show for 8 years in Northern California on public radio station KRCB-FM, featuring some of the best DJs from around the world. I am also a remixer, editor and producer with new works coming.Currently I reside on the Florida Suncoast, working on and posting new mix sets online and streaming projects.
